Kidnapped

Chapter Seven

Tyler stepped out of the bustling bar, the neon lights fading behind him as he dialed his personal investigator's number. With a sense of urgency in his voice, he demanded, "Hello, Mike, find out where the Wilson family have taken my wife and what they're up to. I need to know every detail. Get back to me in the next ten minutes. I need to go save her."

"Alright, boss. I am on it," Mike assured him before ending the call.

A few tense minutes passed before Mike's name flashed on Tyler's phone screen, urging him to quickly press the answer button.

"Where are they?" He inquired as soon as he received the call.

"They're at Living Stone Hotel celebrating the Wilson's eldest son's birthday. They took your wife there," Mike revealed.

"Thank you," Tyler responded before ending the call.

People of various statuses, from all walk of life streamed into the house where the birthday festivities were set to unfold, each bearing an array of exquisite gifts. Judas, the young master, meticulously oversaw the preparations, ensuring every detail was perfect.

In the midst of a conversation with a prominent figure from the city, butler Leo approached him, (Judas), bowing respectfully as he neared.

"Sir, may I have a word with you privately?," Butler Leo uttered, his head still slightly bowed.

Judas frowned slightly when he sensed the urgency in Leo's tone, he apologized to the man he was having a conversation with, and swiftly excused himself from the conversation.

Once alone, Judas turned to Butler Leo and asked, "Is there any problem? Is everything alright with the girl? Where is she?" Leo, with his head still bowed, replied quietly.

"She's in the vehicle, where should I keep her?" Butler Leo asked, prompting a look of disappointment to cross Judas's face. He bit his lower lip, his fist clenched in frustration.

"Why are you struggling with a task as simple as this? Lock her up in the private room at the hotel. Make sure she doesn't manages to escape, because there will be consequences if she do escape" he threatened firmly.

Butler Leo quickly nodded in agreement and promptly left.

A devilish smirk crept onto his face as he anticipated the night ahead, determined to claim her cornea.

Amid the vibrant party atmosphere, everyone reveled in the beautiful moment. The crowd engaged in lively conversation and laughter, savoring the festivities until the gift-giving portion of the evening arrived.

Judas unveiled his gift—a small, gleaming jade piece fetching millions of dollars. Knowing his brother's appreciation for such treasures, he felt confident in his choice. Just as he was about to present the gift, a voice resonated through the room, interrupting the moment.

"What the hell is going on here?" Tyler yelled. Butler Leo quickly moved to Judas' side and whispered in his ear.

"He is the man you spoke with earlier on phone. He is Adrianna's husband," Butler Leo explained.

After hearing butler Leo's explanation, Judas stood tall, with a smug expression on his face as he mocked Tyler who is before him.

"Wow, I guess you're here to beg after all you have said to me on the phone a few hours ago. Running your mouth like a tap over the phone. And now you're back to beg me" he let out a dry chuckle. "Don't bother yourself, because no amount of begging will help your wife, so I advise you to leave this instant."

Although Judas tried to make his voice deep and threatening, Tyler was totally unfazed.

"Where the hell is my wife?" Tyler asked with a clenched fist. "Where are you keeping her?"

Judas raised his brows.

"You want to see her?" He asked, his words laced with mockery. "Don't worry, I will give you the honor of seeing her," Judas assured Tyler which was obviously a lie, then burst into laughter.

Judas turned to Butler Leo and signaled him to bring Adrianna, and a few minutes later, he wheeled her to their table.

Anger surged through Tyler's veins as clenched and unclenched his fist upon seeing his wife on the wheelchair. He thought about how much she must have suffered by now.

He rushed to her, bending down to her level, gently caressing her face with his palm. His eyes turned red and he fought back the tears that threatened to fall from his eyes.

"Are you okay, darling? Did they do anything to hurt you?" He bombarded her with questions, concern evident in his voice. "How are you?" he asked again, his eyes searching hers for any sign of distress.

"Tyler, I am fine" Arianna replied quietly in a cracked voice. "You should go back home. Don't cause any more trouble here. I don't want you to endanger your life for me. These people are not to be toyed with. They're evil, and capable of anything," she said.

Tyler scoffed in disbelief, unable to comprehend why everyone was so fearful of them. He couldn't understand why his own family didn't believe he could save them from the looming trouble.

"I'm not endangering my life. You are my wife and I will do anything in my power to save you from any situation," Tyler declared, his determination shining through his eyes.

"I understand you, but you have to live. You have to live for our daughter. I don't want her to be an orphan. That's why you have to leave me. I'll be fine," Adrianna said, her voice filled with a mix of love and concern.

"Stop saying you'll be fine. I will save you; you just have to trust me. I won't allow anyone to hurt you," Tyler asserted, his eyes reflecting his unwavering determination.

"Wow, I never knew you loved your wife like this. I'm getting jealous from watching this lovey-dovey," Judas mocked. Adrianna ignored Judas's words and leaned in to whisper to Tyler.

"I'll sacrifice myself for the family. All you have to do is save yourself from this drama, for our daughter's sake," Adrianna urged, her eyes filled with love and selflessness.

"Stop saying that! I won't allow anyone to lay a finger on you. Anyone who tries that will lose their life for it," Tyler declared, his voice firm with a hint of danger. Judas hit his hand on the table in frustration.

"What rubbish are you spouting out of your mouth? Do you even know who my family is in the society?" Judas asked with a smug look on his face. "Apart from being one of the richest families in the society, do you even know how powerful we are?"

"I don't care about how powerful you guys are," Tyler replied calmly, his expression defiant.

"I'm sure you don't know. I'm going to help you by telling you the kind of family I come from," Judas began, a hint of arrogance in his voice. "Our family is one of the Blue Dragon members. And do you know the most interesting thing? The God of War King is my friend," he boasted.
