“Are you still mad at me?” Edgar asked Elsa in the kitchen when she came to grab a glass of juice. Her first instinct was to ignore him but on second thoughts, there was nothing to be pissed about. He clearly told her how he felt. The least she could do was accept it and move on.

“No, I'm not mad anymore. It won't change how you feel,” she shrugged.

“It's not what you think. I actually helped Ray because I wanted to not because I felt any sense of responsibility towards him,” Edgar told her.

Elsa crossed her arms, “Is that so? You didn't sound like that earlier.”

“I'm sorry. I didn't mean anything I said to you. I was just pissed that you came to my house for the first time and didn't spare me a glance. All you were concerned about was your friend and it hurt me,” he confessed.

“He was injured!” Elsa said defensively.

“Yeah, right, whatever. My point remains you didn't even care about my feelings. You just wanted to see your friend,” he insisted.

Elsa couldn't deny he was right.
