CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
Both mother and son stared at each other, one with a questioning look, and the other with a smile as he stretched his hands. Knowing how determined his mother could be, he dragged her closer with his other hand.

"Mama, I'll tell you everything soon, just know that this money was obtained legally and lawfully. I wouldn't do anything that would jeopardise my freedom. Something I've yearned for years after being wrongly incarcerated, trust me Mama" Adam told his mother reassuringly, his eyes shone bright and crinkled at the corner.

He more than understood her fears, and so he wasn't offended, it was no news that he had been poor before leaving for prison, and his account barred. Julia stared at her son, although she knew she'd raised a good man, she was still curious as to the origin of the money.
