CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

"Father, it's me. I'm sorry Father, I'm so sorry for the pain my absence must have caused. It's truly me Father, I've been released and I'm never going back to that dungeon" In between tears, Adam replied to his father, his tears flowing down to the feet of Hector.

"It's really our son Hector, it's Adam in the flesh. Your eye isn't playing tricks on you, our Adam is back." Julia amidst her tears informed a still shocked Hector.

Tears welled up in Hector's eyes at the words of his wife and the sight before him, his eyes not leaving the bent form of his son on the ground. Hector bent forward, his thin arms around his son as he enveloped him in a hug, giving way to the sob that threatened to leave his chest.

"My son, my son, my son is back" Hector continuously cried out. Julia on seeing both her husband and child enveloped in a bittersweet hug, moved closer and cushioned herself between them, crying in relief at the reunion taking place.
