Cecil couldn't believe that Louisa had chosen to stay behind and abandon her family, she fumed and panted, crossing and uncrossing her arms at the thought,

“Who knows if that fool has gone to be with Adam.”

She said grimly and stared at her son, who was standing with furrowed brows, with his hand placed at the base of his neck; he shook his head unconsciously, for he didn't want to believe that.

He looked like he was about to burst into tears.

“Mother, I think we should be more worried about whether she is okay…” Logan tried to respond, but before he could finish his statement, a shoe came flying directly at his head, and he quickly ducked, with widened eyes he straightened himself to gape at Cecil who was panting, her eyes had turned crimson as she huffed and puffed,

Despite her aggravation, his statement dawned on her, and Cecil took a moment to process what Logan had said, and realised it was possible for her stupid daughter to be in danger,

‘What if she is not okay?’
