CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED & FORTY-EIGHT

The calmer sister palmed her hand to her face and exhaled, her face reddening as she turned her sister to face her, releasing her grip on Joan's hair,

“You haven't done anything aside from pacing back and forth and wailing at intervals! Now that someone is here and willing to help out you're acting unreasonable?! Wake up, Joan!!!" She seethed as she snapped at her sister who only sneered in response and hissed loudly.

Ignoring her sister, she heaved a breath and faced Adam calmly,

“Go on, and do whatever it takes…” her voice cracked some more and she expelled a breath, closing her eyes tightly before continuing,

"Just please help him if you can…He can't die"

It was a terrific scene for Adam, watching siblings fight over who got to handle their father,

Adam nodded his head, he could understand her fears and plight. He got to work as he used the needles ito find the old man's pressure point and traced his fingers from his neck down to his wrist in search of a small vein.
