The journey to Dumbbell in the North Province was long and Adam sat in the tight cab, glaring at the streets and the roads. General Olson was right, it was a small town, but as small as it was, it was beautiful,

He was so engrossed in the beautiful forms of nature that he did not catch a quick glimpse of the little crowd of three people that were by the roadside, two of them moving frantically, while someone seemed to be lying on the ground,

He registered the scene in his subconscious but hadn't fully sunk in until the cab sped a little down the road, blinking his eyes, he sat up on his seat and immediately tapped the driver,

“Did you see that?”

“See what Sir?” The driver asked, looking at him through the rearview mirror,

Adam glanced a little to the back, and then faced the driver again,

“We gotta go back. I just saw three people by the road and they look like they need help.”

The cab driver looked through his rear mirror to view the back and he hesitantly hit the road in reverse mod
