CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED & FORTY-SIX

The sonorous sound of the afternoon breeze filled Adam's ears as he walked out of the Haman Hale bank, feeling a little lightened as he walked out, his mood gradually swaying back to his normal self as he tried to push aside the terrific events that occurred earlier.

His loops curled up in a sneer as he remembered in a flash the hoarse voice of the lady whose name was Elizabeth and the accusatory voice of the pot bellied mad who was called Mr.Durmont,

“Funny humans…” he mumbled through clenched teeth and a stifled smile.

A taxi pulled up in front of him and the driver poked his head out.

“Do you need a ride, Sire?” He asked, flashing his brown teeth and his hairy nostrils,
