CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED & TWENTY-TWO

Adam soon arrived at the hospital per Mira's request, leaving a still weak and reluctant Amber behind, he had only chosen to come out of respect for Mira and nothing else, it was obvious her mother didn't need his help, and he was fine with that.

As soon as he crossed the threshold of Madam Ruth's room, she flared up and threw a shoe at the door, in reflex Adam ducked,

Her daughter chastised loudly while sending a look of remorse and apology to Adam on her mother's behalf,
