“Kohler, hold on. You can’t just leave. Where are you going to?” Quincy asked, worried that she was really serious about her decision to leave.

“You don’t need to know where I am going. And you also don’t need to worry about saving your child, anymore. If you can stand and watch her, being slaughtered, I can’t. I carried her in my womb for a good 9 months, and also went through the stress of raising her; if you know what I mean.”

“Look. Calm down. We can figure a way out of this.” Quincy said to her, in a pleading tone.

But she didn’t listen to him, even until she got into her car.

“Quincy, please. Just stop.” She said, not wanting to hear any more word from him, then she drove off.

While driving, she brought out her phone from her purse and then dialed Charles’ contact. The dial tone kept on ringing, but he didn’t answer the call.

She drove off to his home instead as she felt he could have been away from his phone, and even if he wasn’t at home, his maid would certainly let her in.
