Chapter 8

As Quincy stepped into the COO's office, he was ushered to a seat across the expansive desk. The man quickly apologized for the delay, inquiring if he required anything.

"Can I get you some water, and coffee, Mr. Chen?" the COO asked deferentially.

Quincy shook his head, he was very concerned about getting the proposal done with and getting out of there, he had a lot on his plate to handle and Herbal Corps was only one of such issues.

He had a plan that he knew would get the attention of the COO at once. He has to make sure his proposal is foolproof and one that the man would be unable to refuse. Coffee or water wasn't his concern, he wanted to get right down to business.

"No, I'm fine, let's get right to business," he replied instead and laid out the briefcase that he had arrived with on the desk. He pulled it in open carefully and then handed out the plans and visions that he had for the new herbal products line.

"This is quite genius, how did you come up with something so unique!" The man asked, clearly impressed with his proposal. Not only was he going to find a way to make their product unique, but he was also going to make sure that the distribution was swift and wide.

"I will also make sure that any competitors in this line of business think twice before venturing in," he added.

The COO was very interested in how he could do that. After all, they were currently facing competition from other firms. "And how would you achieve that?" He asked.

A smirk tugged at Quincy's lips. "It's quite simple," he replied. "I have a team that will not only buy out market shares, but also merge with any major competitors. The minor ones will have to be put out of business once they see how successful the new product line is. We will also have a secret ingredient and make sure that it isn't open to the competitors just yet, until we are sure that we have the TOMA that we need from the customers." He explained.

The COO couldn't contain his enthusiasm, clapping his hands together. "I'm just amazed at this," he exclaimed, nodding eagerly. "Not only will that bring us a new client base, but it will also eliminate any old competitors we've had in the past. This is a brilliant idea." He beamed.

"We will have to work with the best of doctors and also use the finest ingredients, this way, we create an edge that others can't even think of competing with. We have to make this worthwhile," Quincy added.

Meanwhile, the COO continued to look through the papers before him. It looked like a flawless plan, and he was stunned by how smart and resourceful Quincy actually was. He was also well informed when it had to do with market shares and how to invade the new market through the new product that he was proposing. It looked like a foolproof plan to him.

"But that's not all," Quincy said. The COO was pleasantly surprised, and he asked him what else he had in mind. "I also want to partner with the Herbal Corps," he added.

"Really?" the COO asked, his eyes widening with pleasant surprise. "A partnership deal?

Quincy nodded, his tone firm. "Yes, I'm willing to invest my own family's wealth and get a major stake in the company."

The COO's face split into a broad grin. Not only would Quincy's innovative ideas propel Herbal Corps to new heights, but the man was also offering a substantial financial investment. It was an opportunity the COO simply couldn't pass up.

"This is remarkable," the COO breathed, his voice brimming with excitement. "Not only will your product plan revolutionize the market, but your willingness to partner with us is an absolute boon."

Quincy allowed a small, self-assured smile to grace his lips. He had known his proposal would be enticing, but the COO's enthusiastic response exceeded even his expectations.

"I believe this partnership will be immensely beneficial for both of our companies," Quincy stated. "Herbal Corps will gain a significant competitive edge, while my family's resources will ensure the success of this venture."

The COO eagerly nodded in agreement. "Absolutely, Mr. Chen. I can't wait to get the paperwork started. This is an opportunity we simply cannot afford to miss."
