Lauren had finally agreed to do what Quincy asked of her, but just that she hadn’t told him yet. She wanted to see how it was going to work out, first.

“Yeah, just one glass will do.” She said to the bartender.

“Okay! Although, I can’t guarantee that you will stick to your rule because it’s Martini!” The bartender said, with a smile.

“And what’s so special about Martini?” Lauren uttered and rolled her eyes.

“Hmmm. I see you might need something strong. You don’t look like you’re in a good mood.”

“Look. It’s either you keep your mouth zipped up and serve me my drink or I walk out of your bar.”

“Okay, okay. Easy. I’ll just serve your drink.” The bartender said and then went ahead to make her what she ordered.

Not long after, Alexander came down the stairs and she spotted him even before he got to the bottom of the stairs.
