After making sure Lily was safe in her room, Dion and Eden sought a moment of peace in the kitchen. Dion, perched on a cabinet, looked at Eden with a mix of curiosity and concern. Dion started, his voice carrying genuine interest, "Why did you disappear, and are you really Cyber Shadow?"

Eden's response held a weight of pain and vulnerability. "After our last messages, my life took a dark turn. My mother confined me, and they tried to force me into an unwanted marriage. It became unbearable."

The way she said Mother was disturbing. Dion noticed it but keeps quiet allowing her to continue
