Chapter 11 Show Me What You Got
When Alora heard what Ashton said, she thought she would pass out from the sudden rage in her chest.

The man who used to be nothing but obedient to her was suddenly cold and distant to her, treating her worse than how he would treat a stranger.

"Ashton, you've injured my mother and my brother. Not only did you feel no guilt from it, you seem to think your actions were justified. Do you think I'm a pushover, or do you think I won't hold you accountable because we've been married in the last three years?" Alora brushed her hair. "It seems you don't know what I'm capable of."

Ashton smiled faintly. "I know exactly what you are when you pull out the divorce papers. Fortunately, it's not too late."

Alora knew that Ashton was wrong about her, and she also knew what Ashton was trying to imply. However, she did not care. "I mean, you don't know the real me, and what I will do to my enemies. If you think I care about our dead relationship and won't retaliate against you, you got it wrong. When I strike, I will strike hard and make sure you can never come back from it. I'm not kidding."

Ashton still had the same smile on his face. "So what?"

"So what? Ashton, who gave you the confidence to talk to me this way? Don't forget that my three companies, with a combined market value of billions, are the biggest players in the beauty industry of Edren County. And you, after leaving me, are nothing. You have no job, can't afford your rent, and can't even pay for your meals."

Alora snorted. "Like now, if I say a word, I can have the hall manager here to kick you out of this place, you understand?"

"Don't make me go that far with you. When it finally comes to that, getting on your knees begging me will do you no good."

"You done?" Ashton took a sip from his cup. "When you're done, get out of my face."

"In addition, I'm repeating what you just told me, don't make me go that far with you either. Or else I will ruin everything that you have right now. You will not be able to take that kind of blow.

Alora sneered. She was dumbfounded. She could not believe a loser like Ashton would say such a thing. "Are you kidding me?"

"Alora, why waste your breath talking to him?" In the distance, Tyson quickly approached Alora with a glass of wine. "No matter how a loser sneaks into a place like this and tries to make himself presentable, he can't change the fact that he is just a loser."

Ashton did not even want to pay Tyson any attention, but Tyson could not wait to introduce himself. "You are Ashton? Alora has talked about you and how you have won her affections with your dirty little tricks. You are a scum to society, and I love beating up scums. "

Alora frowned. She had never said those things to Tyson. However, she was holding a lot of anger toward Ashton, so she did not bother to explain herself.

"Know who I am? One of Edren County's aristocrats, Tyson from Eastgate Corps, Tyson of the Cox Family! I was the one who founded the Dormund Grand Three Elements Club.

"You won't understand it because you're not fit to join our circle. In short, it is something you can never understand in your lifetime!"

"Really?" Ashton looked at him, seemingly unbothered.

The two men were not impressed with each other, and the situation was tense.

Slowly, a crowd gathered around them.

"Damn, isn't that Tyson? Who is he fighting this time?"

"Can't you see? They're both fighting for a woman. That Alora is now garnering all kinds of attention. No man can resist her beauty."

"However, she seems to be married. Mister Cox has a taste for married women. So disgusting."

"Who is Mister Cox?" A newbie who had yet to fully integrate into the social circle asked in a puzzled low voice.

"You don't know Mister Cox? The Cox family of the Eastgate Corps, the top player in the nightlife industry of Edren County, Tyson. He is the son of the head of the Cox family. You have to have a net worth of at least 10 million dollars to be a member of the Dormund Grand Three Elements Club. Their exclusive circle is beyond the reach of ordinary people."

"And Mister Cox is a capable man. Many youngsters from rich families in Edren County dare not provoke him. Before that, someone did try to start shit in his club, and Mister Cox chopped off all ten of his fingers on the spot. He then tied that guy up and hung him at the door for three days and nights. Finally, the guy's father personally came to apologize to Mister Cox and managed to get his son back. When that guy was rescued, he was barely alive."

The group of people listened blankly.

Who would even dare go against someone like Tyson? Who was the guy dressed in white?

"I don't know the guy standing in front of Mister Cox. He doesn't look like anyone I know. Is he just a random guy that sneaked in from somewhere? He doesn't seem to know what he has gotten himself into."

After the crowd settled down, Tyson chirped, "It seems everyone knows me very well, and I have made my introductions clear. Did you hear that, Levin? Now you can get on your knees and beg for my forgiveness. Lick my shoes, and if it's clean enough, I can consider forgiving you.

"Otherwise, I'll stain the whole gala with your blood. And then Alora can feel better about seeing your sorry face here."

Alora opened her lips and hesitated, but then she saw how unbothered Ashton was. Sitting there, Ashton looked so relaxed that he looked no different than spending time on a beach vacation. Alora could not help her anger; her last ounce of pity for Ashton vanished instantly.

A fool like Ashton would not know regret until it was too late.

A smile appeared on Ashton's calm face. He put down his glass and leaned back in his chair. "You think you're all it, don't you? Come, show me what you've got."
