Chapter 13 Trapped Inside
Gaston felt the pain all over his body, especially his foot. Groaning, he forced his eyes open only to see nothing but pitch of darkness.

“Ugh! Ugh!” he coughed after inhaling the dusty air.

He turned around, adjusting in the dark. He tried to move but his foot ached so he stayed on his seat. Groping around he touched the cold rock and cement. Behind him, there was a metallic smooth object.

Amidst the dark, Gaston focused on finding the man whom he last saw before losing his consciousness.

“Griffti! Are you there?!”

His voice only echoed. No one answered his call.

He opened his mouth again and shouted, “Hey! Griffti! Grif.. Ugh!”

The dust went inside his mouth and his throat felt so dry and itchy. Still, he desperately call for the Chairman’s grandson even though he felt like blood would come out from his mouth.

“Griffti!”

“Damn. You are so noisy.”

Gaston ceased when he finally heard someone reply to him. He sighed in relief.
