Chapter hundred seven

As the plane touched down at the airport, Bryan stood at the terminal, his eyes fixed on the arrivals board. He couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions - excitement to see his wife, Claire, after her long trip to Paris, and annoyance at having to spend time with his mother-in-law, Freda, who was standing beside him. He would rather be anywhere else, but he knew he had to be here to welcome Claire back home.
