The Blanco Family CEO.

Hailey had received a call from her mother, Cami, and it seemed urgent. She picked up from her laptop and the video call connected through.

Her mother was a little bit skinny despite her two surgeries and millions of money spent on beauty tips. Her full lips was in a pause as the call went through.

She saw her daughter staring at her and her eyes widened. "Oh my goodness, Rosa, Justin! Come and look at your sister. See how thin and unkempt she is!"

Hailey frowned at how dramatic her mother could be. Her siblings had popped their heads through the screen too, observing her.

"Indeed she looks so thin." Rosa, Hailey's younger sister said.

Justin was the last born and only boy. He was always so reserved and hated interfering with his family in general. He popped his head to stare at Hailey but with no comment, he went back to his business, leaving just Rosa and her mother.

"Of course she is. Since she's been married to such a poor man, what else do you think!" Cami said.

"Yes mother. I hate that we've been too easy on her. Doesn't she know that we love her and that's why we're caring?!" Rosa said.

"Mother, sister, this isn't important right now. Just answer me, why have you called?" Hailey frowned.

"Well, it's simple you see. Your sister and I have been thinking, there's been a problem at home and we need all the financial help that we can get!" Rosa said.

"So why do you need my help?" Hailey asked.

It was her mother's turn to talk now. "Listen to me hon, we love you and care for you. I've catered for you since you were a baby, now it's your turn to repay me. We are in a mess right now, financially. And the only way you can help is if you get married to a rich man right now."

Hailey was angry now. "But I'm already married! Why can't Rosa get married to this rich man, huh?"

"Because you're the first born, and the growth and responsibilities of this family should lie on your shoulder!" Her mother replied bluntly.

"Also, because he doesn't want me. He wants you!" Rosa said, pouting.

"Thats absurd. I won't do it. I can't!" Hailey protested.

Cami's face was closer to the screen now. "You listen to me, you don't have a choice. There's no way you can help us unless you dump that foolish man!"

"Listen, it's not that hard." Her mother continued. "Just abort the baby and leave Jordan alone."

"Mom, it's Tobin." Rosa corrected.

"Whatever! I don't need to care about his name." Cami cut her daughter off. "All I just need from you right now is that you get us out of this mess! There's a rich man already, and he'll save us from this mess. Come on, if you're my daughter, you will listen to me. Help us, huh?"

Tobin stepped inside in that moment, and saw that his wife was more than happy to see him. She hung up and told her mother she would call later. It was the that Tobin told his wife about the good news of his work. He couldn't tell her the full detail but even that was enough to make her happy.

That evening, Hailey told Tobin her family wanted to see him. She had told them about her husband job and they were too inquisitive, wanting to find out more.

When they arrived at the entrance, Hailey told her husband that she had suggested that they met up. "They want me to marry some rich old dude, Tobin. I couldn't allow that."

"So you brought me here so they can mock me?" Tobin said a bit angry. But there was no turning back now. They were already at the entrance.

Rosa was the one that opened up. "Come in." She said to them, leaving the door open. She was tall with full brown hair and a pretty face that had been abused with too much makeup.

Cami was already waiting for them in the living room. "I hear that you've got a job." Was the first thing she said as soon as they had their seats.

Hailey stepped forward, "yes mother. It's at a motor company! Smiths Automobiles." She said excitedly, waiting for them to celebrate with her, but they only frowned.

"Good for him. But this doesn't change anything." Cami said.

Deep down, Tobin had already came up with a plan. He would make his wife win a bid at his firm without the awareness of anyone. He was quiet all this while thinking of strategies to promote his plan.

"Are you deaf?" He didn't know they were talking to him and he had to wait again until he saw that his mother in law had been talking to him. He stared at his wife and she repeated what they'd asked him.

"Did you know about the contract in the market? It was placed by a new CEO of the firm just today." Hailey asked as her mother had asked.

He shook his head. "No, I don't." Of course he lied. He was the CEO they were talking about!

"Well whatever, I have an announcement to make right now." Cami said. "Whoever can win this offer for the family will automatically become the family CEO. Not that any of you have a shot anyway..."
