CHAPTER FOURTY-TWO

Logan walked into the room and took in the entire view, his heart grieving and thought about the whole situation painting the vivid image of his first time there at the apartment.

With a deep sigh, he ran his fingers over the mahogany table, wondering to himself how different everything would have turned out to be If he had done things differently.

Still wrapping his mind around the series of events, his gaze turned to see Charlie Walk into the study where he was with a broad expression on his face.

“How is it possible?" Charlie — The Butler smiles sheepishly.

“I don't have too much time here," Logan muttered.

He knew beyond doubt that he had to make the meeting brief; it was the only way he could get any Sanity out of everything that looked to be happening at that moment. As soon as he walked toward the man still perplexed at seeing him, Logan made his request.

"I need to get to the safe.”

" Oh, I'd lead the way,” Charlie replies.
