CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO

Logan wasn't the only one to hear the sound of the car driving into the compound. Josie did too. She got up from where she sat and began to walk towards the front door to welcome her grandfather but just as she got to the door, she stopped.

"Do I have to show Grandfather the note?" She thought.

It seemed as if she was beginning to have second thoughts about the whole thing. She knew what her grandfather was capable of doing if she told him what Logan had done. Different thoughts began to run through her head and it was as if her head would almost explode from all the thoughts that gathered there.

Suddenly, she heard the voice of her grandfather ringing in her head.
