Chapter 148: Accost

Derek tapped his foot impatiently, checking his watch again and again.

The air in the car carried a certain amount of tension, anticipation, and wariness.

"Are you sure you got the right details?" Derek asked Benson who was beside him in the backseat.

"It's normal for Hamilton to arrive late sometimes, Boss." Thomas was the one that replied, from behind the wheels.

Derek looked outside without another word, his eyes sweeping past his men positioned in the darkness some few meters away.

Benson had followed his instructions to the letter, placing at least 15 men in several places outside the Wildies Club.

They had an extra 10 men waiting in a G-wagon behind them in the parking lot.

All that was left was for the target to show up.

Derek gritted his teeth. The worst that would happen if Hamilton didn't show up is they go confront him in his house!

He doesn't have time for all this.
