Chapter hundred nine

Although, Adrian was just testing him because he wanted to be certain if Daniel was no longer the person he used to be, but that didn’t stop him from being shocked, when he realized that he was nowhere to be found, and even the card.

“No. No, this can’t be.” He muttered under his breath.

But before anything else could happen, he heard the sound of someone, flushing, and he became at alert as he fixed his eyes at the door, to be certain that someone who wasn’t meant to be there, wasn’t there.

As the door opened, his eyes fluttered, and jerked his head, back, a bit.

“Daniel, what are you doing there?” Adrian asked.

“I went to use the restroom, because you were taking too long to get back, and I couldn’t wait. And yes, I picked up your black card along with me, just so anyone who comes in, like the delivery man, wouldn’t pick it up, instead.” Daniel uttered as he stepped outside, looking relieved.
