Chapter 8

Reed continued making out with a lady. He kissed her roughly as Rihanna moaned out his name continuously.

Gorya and Lisa continued eating and drinking when a guy walked up to them. "Hey ladies," Denies smiled as Lisa gasped. He was the most popular actor in New York. "Hi," Lisa smiled. "Wow, can't believe such a beauty still exists," Denies said, facing Gorya. She just smiled.

"Are you a model?" he asked. "No," she simply replied. "Wow, you really ought to be one. I can refer you to a friend of mine," Denies offered. "I don't...," "That would be great!" Lisa quickly interrupted, seeing that Gorya was about to decline. She stared at her, "Okay sir, I'd love to," Gorya smiled. Denies continued talking to her, knowing a little about her from what she had said. He smiled, "Okay then, this is my business card, and you can visit my company anytime you're available," Denies gave a heartwarming smile. Immediately he was off, Lisa hit her. "What's that about?" she asked, staring at Gorya. "I really don't want to go into any modeling career right now," Gorya pouted. 'At least, be smart and grab opportunities when they come," Lisa rolled her eyes.

Just then, Tina walked up to them, shock visible on both their faces. "Tina, where have you been? Your mom is sick and worried about you," Gorya asked. "None of your business. What are you doing here? How were you able to get in?" she asked all at once. Lisa rolled her eyes at her question and replied before Gorya could.

"Miss little Tina, you shouldn't have a mindset that people can't make it or come to huge parties. Why are you bothered about how we were able to get in? So please, why don't you mind your business and let's pretend like we don't know each other? I hate people who are always full of themselves," Lisa snorted afterwards. Tina tried to talk, but Lisa was quick to pull Gorya away. She scoffed afterwards.

She spotted Reed coming out with a lady, talking to her. She rushed up to him, calling his name. Finally getting to him, she smiled, "Reed, where have you been?" she snapped. "Stop screaming like a doll. We are at a party," Reed said. She was taken aback by his reply.

Kelvin immediately reciprocated the kiss, knowing fully well who it was. He stopped kissing her and smiled, "Missed you too," he replied. "It's unsafe here," he mumbled into her ear. "Let's get a room," she smirked, walking out of the restroom.

They both ended up in a room. Kelvin shut the door as he immediately found his way to Artemis's lips. She started to unbuckle his inner shirt, and he did the same with her dress, unzipping it. "I've missed this," Artemis smirked as she began kissing him.

"Have you seen Artemis?" Savarin asked. "Don't know," Mia also looked around.

"You're still rock hard even at this age," Artemis trailed her fingers on his chest. Kelvin stood up, wearing his clothes. Artemis did the same. "I'll go out first, you go after ten minutes," he instructed. Kelvin ruffled his hair after he left but quickly arranged it to avoid suspicion.

After ten minutes, Artemis did the same.

"Where were you?" Mia asked, a little worry in her voice. "Are you worried about me?" Kelvin smiled. "Why would I?" she walked off. Artemis saw this and secretly clenched her fist.

"Sir, you can't get in," the bodyguard tried to stop a huge man who still managed to get in with the help of his armed men. The hall fell into total silence immediately he entered. Kelvin stood up from his seat, stopping his bodyguard from forcefully pulling the man out, and he walked up to him.

"Long time no see, Friend!" Mr. Frances smirked. Seeing who the person was, Mia's face turned pale. "What are you doing here? You weren't invited," Kelvin spat coldly. Denies saw Mr. Frances and smiled secretly. "Can't I come to welcome your children? They are mine too," Mr. Frances said. Immediately Mr. Frances said that, Mia's heart began to race.

Mr. Frances didn't leave but walked to the table near him, wanting to take a drink. He was blocked by Kelvin. "Leave when I ask kindly now," his voice came out dangerous this time.

Mia rubbed her sweaty palm. She suddenly lost interest in the party.

Frances laughed loudly before turning to leave. Everyone continued what they were doing, and the reporters weren't allowed to take shots of that moment.

"Mom, is there any problem?" Ryran asked his mom after seeing how uncomfortable she was. "Nothing," she tried to smile, but Ryran knew she wasn't well. Her phone rang, and she checked the caller's ID. She groaned in frustration after seeing who it was. She walked up to a corner and answered the call. "Do you like the surprise gift?" she asked. "Just leave my life and my children alone, please," she begged. "You know that won't be possible, right?" The man's voice came out cold. She sighed, tears threatening to drop from her eyes.

"Please, where's the restroom?" Gorya asked Thyme, who was sitting with his head down, making it impossible to see his face. "Ask someone else," he stood up, walking away without sparing her a glance. "Wait, isn't that...?" Gorya tried to figure out who it was. "I was looking for you everywhere," Lisa interrupted. Gorya's eyes were still on Thyme, who was now far away from them. Lisa followed her gaze, "Are you falling for that handsome chef?" Lisa giggled. "Chef?" Gorya repeated. "Yeah, chef. He told me his name was Thyme," Lisa explained. "Thyme! Yeah, I knew I had met him somewhere," Gorya finally remembered. "He's already taken," Lisa pouted. "I didn't say I was after him. Now, please, could you kindly tell me where the restroom is?" Gorya asked. They both walked to the restroom. Gorya's mouth opened in awe. Even the restroom is so big. "Are you going to stand there, or are you going in before you wet your pants?" Lisa stood, amused. Gorya immediately rushed in.
