Chapter 30

“What happened here?” He asked with a confused look on his face as his gaze landed on his luggage lying on the floor.

He reached out to the luggage on the floor, picked it up from the floor, and placed it in a good spot.

“Open the door,” he said and knocked on the door.

For the third time, they refused to open the door despite hearing him from the house. Weren't they at home? He could hear the sound of footsteps inside of the house so he was certain that they were inside the room.

“Open this damn door,” he yelled and began to bang on the door so they would open the door but they refused to open the door.

Just as he was about to give up, the door creaked open and his mother-in-law, Brianna, came out of the house.

“What do you want, Mr. Man?”

“Do you want to break down this door that is worth buying you, huh?” She asked in a cold and indifferent tone, and he scoffed.

“No. I didn't mean to hit the door that way but I had no choice since it seems you didn't want to open the door,”
