Chapter 63

By the time Adrian arrived home, he was tired and his body was aching seriously. He took a deep breath as he stood before the door and glanced at it with uncertainty in his heart.

He couldn't stop feeling bad for what he said to Mr. Daniel. Mr. Daniel looked hurt and heartbroken after he made such a statement.

He wished he could reverse what he said but it was too late. The deed has already been done. He could only beg him and ask for his forgiveness to soothe his heart.

I knocked at the door and the door creaked open, revealing Daniel who was in a singlet and a short.

“Welcome,” he said casually and turned to the left.

“Daniel,” he called him back but Daniel pretended as though he didn't hear him.

“Please don't leave yet,” he said and Daniel stopped on his track then turned to him.

“What's the problem?” Mr. Daniel asked with a cold look on his face and he hit on his lower lips, unaware of what to say or do.
