Chapter 13

Seeing who it was that had yelled from behind, the guards quickly stopped their actions and when the man got to them, they bowed their head in obeisance.

“Sir!”

The man who had just showed up was Isaac, he ignored them and rushed to face his young master, Alex, before giving him a deep bow,

“Young master,”

Alex nodded with a smirk when the saw the look of shock on the guard’s face.

“I’m very sorry for showing up late sir. There was an issue at the company that needed my attention. Sir, you see the—“ Isaac was cut off by Alex who waved his hand in front of him

“It’s okay,”

“Young master, why aren’t you in yet? Did they give you a hard time?” it was obvious so Alex didn’t need to say a thing. The guards gulped when they saw the anger in Isaac’s eyes.

Isaac glared at them for causing a hard time for his young master and the guards cower in fear. They knew Isaac very well but weren’t familiar with Alex. It was a shock to them that Isaac had bowed to Alex and not the other way around.
