Chapter 88

After pondering on the matter for sometime, Arthur had no choice but to call the cab driver who took him home.

Meanwhile, the sisters soon got home in their apartment. Jesse stormed into the place with her hands on her head as she began to pace around the sitting room. She would often stop and sit briefly on the sofa.

As she stood up to continue pacing, a soft hand held her, stopping her in her tracks. "The last time I checked, we are sisters who should look out for each other. When did you start keeping things from me? Do you know that I'm completely lost since you decided to keep me in the dark? How can I even help you when I don't know what the problem is?"

Jenny helped her sister sit down and she managed to calm down after letting out a deep sigh.

"What did Arthur do to you?" Jenny probed further.

"He's been lying to me all these while." Jesse replied to her sister in a disappointed tone. "Can you believe that Arthur is my boss and has been pretending to be a security mall guard.
