It was the day for the campaign of Joe Peterson, a campaign that was single-handedly sponsored by Whitewood industries because Joe couldn’t afford everything that would land him to success.

“I think my clothes do not fit anymore,” Lily complained, tossing herself on the bed, and Gabriel chuckled lightly, walking up to her.

The baby fat started to show a bit, and he thought it suited her properly. He grabbed her hand and helped her up, then he took her to the front of the mirror, kissing her neck slightly.

“You look beautiful in anything, and you should be proud of yourself for housing another human,” he whispered in her ears, and she looked at him in the mirror, forcing the corners of her lips up.

The guilt of carrying another man’s baby clouded her heart, and she cursed her hormones for leaving her vulnerable. She wasn’t a fan of it, but here she was, getting all mushy for this one compliment.

“Thank you,” she muttered, turning around to kiss his lips.
