Amelia's phone had been ringing continuously inside her room while she was dining with her mother and Dominic.

The call had ended when she walked in and didn't bother to check on the caller.

She paced forth and back, thinking of how to get back to America and get out of this mess when her mother walked in.

Roseline was a fierce and wicked woman, and no one dared say no when she said yes.

She slapped Amelia across her face the moment she entered her room. “Who do you think you are?”

“How dare you disgrace me in the presence of Dominic? Do you know how much he respected me?”

“Let it get into your skull; you are going to marry Dominic, and there is nothing you can do about it.” she spat

Amelia didn't stay in Aston Villa to finish her education after completing high school because of her mother's gruesome act. Roseline hit her at any given chance; she had no love for her children since their father was no more, and her attitude chased John, the only son she had, out of the house until
