As the van rumbled away, the atmosphere inside was tense. Fredrick winced in pain as the medical team examined his wound, their expressions grim. Outside, the station loomed, a perfect reminder of the impending trial.

Peter paced back and forth in the dimly lit hospital room, his mind a whirlwind of conflicting emotions. Relief flooded through him like a warm current as he replayed the scene of Frederick being led away in handcuffs by the FBI agents. Finally, justice was served, and the nightmare that had plagued his life for so long was coming to an end.

Tyler, lying in the hospital bed, watched Peter with a mixture of concern and curiosity. "Hey, Pete, are you okay?" he asked, his voice weak but filled with genuine worry.

Peter turned to face him, a smile spreading across his face. "Yeah, Ty, I'm more than okay. I'm ecstatic! Frederick's been caught. He won't be able to hurt anyone else ever again."
