The governor's office was in the heart of town. Peter had quickly arranged himself with Tyler for the meeting. They both got out of the tower, and Tyler held the door for Peter to go in. He was on a call when the driver moved the car.

Tyler couldn't pick out whom he was speaking to over the phone, but he knows it had to be someone very important because Peter has made up his mind not to take any unimportant calls during work hours, especially during meetings. He didn't bother to eavesdrop on the conversation since it really didn't concern their job. But from all he could gather, it had to be with the contractors at the new casino tower he was building. That structure alone had taken a lot of money from Peter's personal account, but he didn't even flinch because it was his money, and the casino business is a very good investment, especially if the fellow has good experience running it.
