On the same night, Ulmer and Ayana were resting on the same bed.

Ayana opened her eyes and looked at him. “Are you not falling asleep, too?”

“Yeah, a lot is going through my mind,” Ulmer said.

“Are you thinking about the woman that betrayed you?” she asked, but he didn’t say anything. “I won’t stop you from taking revenge, but it’s not good to think about revenge all the time.”

“She killed my parents and my sister, Ayana,” Ulmer said, shocking her. “They were innocent. I was the only one who saw her doing something crazy. She should have punished just me, but she brutally killed my family. If I don’t do anything about it, how can my parents and my sister rest in peace?”

Ayana went silent for a bit before saying, “You said her name was Brianna. I hope she’s not the princess.”

“Even if the princess and her are the same person, I’m not letting her get away with what she did,” Ulmer said.

“If the princess is a murderer, then she needs to be punished,” Ayana said, “but who can punish her?
