After talking with Demonmane, Ulmer returned to the hall on the ground floor. He couldn’t see Abbie anywhere, so he opened the fridge door. She was sleeping inside.

“I told you not to sleep here,” he coldly uttered.

“Just for another hour,” she said.

“Get out. Now,” he ordered.

“Tsk,” she opened her eyes and rolled out like a ball all the way to the couch and then rolled her way up the couch and slept on it.

Ulmer sat on another couch and took out a small book out of nowhere.

“What the…” Abbie was greatly surprised. “Where did you take that out from? Did you teleport it from somewhere else? Or do you have an inventory system like they show in the games?”

Ulmer, however, completely ignored her and kept reading the book.

“What’s that book about?” Abbie asked. “Is it fiction? Is it a good story?”
