He stared at the screen for a few seconds and then moved by impulse, he slowly dragged the icon on the screen to the right and answered the call.

He placed the phone on his left ear and remained silent.

“Hello? Mr. Caruso. This is Doctor Melvin.” Said the familiar male voice from the other end of the line, causing Jason to readjust himself instantly.

“Oh, Doctor. How are you?”

“I am good, Sir. I have something to tell you.”

“Oh. Just a moment. Hold on.” Jason looked at Rose, and then he got up from the seat and walked to a corner of the dining hall with her eyes trailing him until he got to a spot that was almost close to the door.

Jason looked around to be sure that no one was around or coming, and then he sighed softly.

“Go ahead, Doctor. I am listening.”

“Yes. As suspected, Isabella called me to ask if I had thought about her request, and was ready to give her a response…”

“Okay?” Jason said as soon as he noticed that the Doctor was silent, probably because he want

Rose sighed heavily, but there was certainly no relief. She turned to look at Jason, and he could see that she was struggling not to let the tears gathered around her eyes drop. “Hey? Hey? It’s okay. You don’t have to cry. It’s going to be okay. I promise.” Jason said calmly, taking her right hand, but his words were not enough to stop her from shedding another round of tears. She sobbed bitterly, and even though she wiped the tears in her eyes with her left hand, more kept on flowing, and she kept on sniffling in an attempt to stop herself from crying. “I just want to see my sister. She’s all I’ve got, I want to see her. Nadia…” She said with a shaky voice, as she constantly sniffled to get a grip on herself. “I am sorry about your sister, Rose. But you need to know that everything is going to be alright.” “No, it’s not!” Rose abruptly dragged her hand away from Jason’s soft grip, and then she wiped the remaining tears off her face and sniffled. Jason sighed, and then he

“Oh, Hi. Doctor Brenda, you are here.” Jason responded almost immediately, but he couldn’t understand the reason behind the sudden tension in his body. He turned to look at Rose, and then he returned his gaze to Brenda who was standing in front of him at the otter end of the table. “I will be in my room,” Rose said suddenly, and then she stood up and walked away after she had exchanged glances with Brenda without saying another word. Jason watched as Rose walked away without saying a word. He kept on staring until she was out of sight, and then he turned to look at Brenda who had a strange smile on her face. “I am sorry, I didn’t realize that you had someone here with you. Mr. Harrison told me that you were here when I asked of you.” “It’s fine. I was just having a conversation with her. Hope there is no problem.”“Oh no, not at all. I just came to do the regular checks on your Grandfather.” Brenda said, and then she walked up to the same chair Rose sat at the table, and sh

The moment they realized what happened, they kept quiet and laughed softly. “You go first, ladies first,” Jason said with a smile on his face, but Brenda disagreed with a shake of her head. “No, I think you should go first. I was actually waiting to hear you speak.” Brenda said with a voice laced with so much insistence. Jason looked at her for a few seconds, and it didn’t look like she was going to say a word if he didn't speak first. “Very well then, I will do as you have requested, my lady.” Jason bowed at her slightly, causing her to chuckle. “Alright, I am waiting,” Brenda said with a smile on her face. They found it.” Harry nodded with his smile intact.“Lovely! This is the best news I have had in a long time!” “Yes, Young Master. They should be on their way home soon.” “Good! This is great news! Thank you so much, Harry. I have you to thank for this.” “No, Young Master. It was all you, you did everything.” “But you assisted me. That was something too.” Harry nodded with his smile intact. “Come on, Harry! I have to break the news to the old man. I know he may not be able to hear me, but I still have to tell him.” Jason went into the building at once, and Harry followed immediately. They went into the elevator which took them to the first floor, and as soon as the doors opened, Jason walled out hurriedly and walked

Jason continued sleeping until about two hours later when he suddenly opened his eyes and lifted his head from the pillow. Slowly, he pushed himself off the bed, and placed his two legs on the ground, blinking severally to get rid of the blur in his vision. He rubbed his eyes with both hands to help out, and when he was certain that he had gotten a grip on himself, he stood up from the bed, and walked into the bathroom, yawning just before he went in. He took a leak and walked out of the bathroom after he had washed his face, and wiped it with a neat towel. He went back to the bed and sat down slowly, and then he pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number before he placed the phone on his right ear. “Yes, Hello. Kelvin. How are you?” He said as soon as he heard the male voice from the other end of the line. “Good. I hope this is a good time to call. Kelvin got out of the car and slammed the door, while Jason continued to look at him until he went back into the building. He sighed heavily, and then he turned on the ignition of the car and drove off, increasing the speed of the vehicle after each minute. Luckily, the distance from the place where he met Kelvin and back to the villa was not much, and in less than a minute, he was in front of the building where he parked the car, and got down almost immediately. When he got down, he looked toward the entrance of the building, and apart from the guards who were standing at strategic points outside the house, Harry also stood directly in front of the entrance to the building, and it looked like he was waiting for someone. “Young Master, I was surprised when I was told that you went out,” Harry said while Jason was still walking toward him with a plain countenance. “Oh, yes. I had to deal with something real quick.” Jason said a few seconds later after he stood a few inches aw

As soon as Jason got out of the car, he scoured through the ambiance of the area, and he could see that some changes had been made. The grasses that were sprouting from several parts of the floor were out, and all the things littered all over the place had been taken off. Jason nodded in satisfaction, and then he turned his eyes to the building. He saw that it had been repainted, and a few other touches and nice additions had been made to it. “Lovely, really lovely.” He said with a whisper, admiring the flowers in huge vases that were positioned at several corners in front of the building. A few seconds later, he looked to his right as soon as he sensed that someone was approaching. “What do you think about it, Young Master?” Harry asked as soon as he stood in front of him, and waited to hear what he was going to say. I think we should get right to it.” Jason said with a smirk on his face, and without waiting for even a second, Harry grabbed the man by the left by his collar and punched him hard in the face. “Ahh! My nose! You broke my nose!” The man whimpered and attempted to hold his nose, but Harry gave him a heavy slap that sent him sprawling to the ground. Jason widened his eyes in surprise, and couldn’t believe that Harry did that. He thought he was going to ask one of the bodyguards to torture the men, but clearly, he had it all covered. For a few seconds, Jason remained silent, but it didn’t seem like that was going to solve anything. The old man was still waiting to get a response from him, and Harry was interested to know the outcome of their meeting as well. Adjusting himself to get a more comfortable posture, Jason cleared his throat and sighed before he spoke with a voice that almost sounded like a whisper. “He has a son.” He said calmly, but his words were too heavy for the other men in the room to remain as calm as he was. It’s only been a few hours.” Jason looked at his Hublot wristwatch to ascertain that it wasn’t close to closing time yet. “Yeah…” Brenda grunted slowly, and after letting out the air she inhaled, she continued with a low tone. “I have just been feeling very tired lately, Jay. Even the patients I attended to noticed the difference. I think I will just rest today, probably by tomorrow I should be fine.” “Are you sure? Maybe we should go on a vacation or something. We should go…” Jason suggested, but Brenda shook her
