He got in at once, and James went into the driver’s seat after he had taken the car key from one of the bodyguards standing close by. He was still staring at the food on the table when Harry walked in with Rose following behind her with her eyes savoring the entire place as if she was trying to be careful not to get shot at. “Oh, Rose! For a few seconds, Jason remained silent, but it didn’t seem like that was going to solve anything. The rays from the sunlight were shining brightly through the casement windows inside the bedroom. The curtains were half closed, giving way to the rays that hit Brenda’s eyes while she groaned in her sleep. For a few seconds Jason was silent while he exchanged glances with the couple, not sure of who he was to face. It was obvious that they were expecting to hear him speak, but the silence in the room was killing them, having more effect on Lucas who couldn’t forget the words he said to him. Everyone remained silent amidst the tension that surrounded the air.
