Chapter 7: Problem Solved!

As Angelo and Brandon soared through the skies in the helicopters, the wind whipping around them, Angelo's instructions echoed in the air.

"Seize the Rodriguez estate, bring them all, including Dirty Dog and his men. Lock them in the Angels’ Bunker, 50 feet beneath 'THE HOUSE OF ANGELS.'" The urgency in his voice conveyed the gravity of the situation.

"Yes sir!" Brandon responded. "I want 20 men and three armored vehicles stationed at the estate. No one goes in unless on my command. And bring all the prisoners." Brandon quickly passed Angelo's instructions to the captain of their forces.

Amid their flight, Angelo and Brandon discussed their next move. The armored vehicles, a formidable procession, trailed behind, carrying the prisoners from the Rodriguez estate. Angelo's plan unfolded, the first strike aimed at punishing the Rodriguezs and their agents.

The helicopters touched down at the Angels’ residence, a place known as the epicenter of power for the Angels. For 20 years now, it almost seemed like it was deserted with no Angels living in it. The captured Rodriguezs and their cohorts were ushered into the Angels’ Bunker, a place of confinement and reckoning. As the prisoners descended into the depths, Angelo's resolve solidified.

"Lock them in the Bunker. Make sure they understand who's in control now."

"Understood, boss. The Rodriguezs won't see the light of day." Brandon responded to Angelo's instructions.

Word of the Angels' return reverberated across Italy, spreading fear far and wide. The mere mention of their name sent shockwaves, a testament to the legendary status they held. Overseas, whispers of the Angels' resurgence stirred concern, marking their return as a spell of danger for all who were concerned.

At Don Romero's residence, whilst engaging in his usual 'wrath and death' mode where he indiscriminately shoots anyone who offends him or who he feels needs a taste of his bullets, a storm was brewing. Jack Rodriguez, his right-hand man, came to him with disturbing news.

"Boss, we've got a problem."

"No, we don't." Don Romero immediately dismissed him as he set his golden gun fixed on his next victim, a young man kneeling before him shaking and begging for his life. For whatever reasons, he found himself unfortunate enough to fall into Don Romero's mode and he is about to learn why he never should have.

GUNSHOTS!!!

The sound of his gun alarmed the almost now quiet estate as he unleashed three bullets precisely at the young man's chest.

"Woohoo! How was my shots, Jack?" Don Romero felt overly excited about his new kill with zero humanity in him to show.

Jack drew closer, stirring down at the dead man's body, he turned to Don Romero with his reply,

"That was perfect, boss. Excellent kill."

Don Romero felt even more proud of himself,

"You see, Jack. Problem solved! I just solved 12 of those problems today."

Don Romero reloaded his gun while he gave his next command,

"BRING THE NEXT BASTARD!"

Jack, still quite worried about the disturbing news he brought, came even closer to his boss.

"Forgive me, boss. There is a bigger problem."

"I know, and they are bringing him out right—" Don Romero wanting to continue his trivia dismissals of Jack's information got interrupted by Jack. This would be the first time someone would dare to interrupt the Don, but Jack knew that already and was willing to take the risk just so he could get his boss's attention.

"THE ANGELS ARE BACK." He shouted to interrupt his boss, "Am sorry sir, but the Angels have returned."

His boss took his attention to Jack, looking at him straight in the eyes with conflicting signals of wanting to punish him for interrupting him and wanting to take the information he so rudely interrupted him for seriously.

"Angels? That's a fairy tale. They're gone, forgotten." Don Romero immediately dismissed the urgent piece of information Jack brought to him.

Juan tried to convince him otherwise,

"Boss, you need to take this seriously. The Angels are back."

But Don Romero wasn't having it.

"Enough! Prepare for the auction and the wedding. Humiliating Angelo is the priority."

Angelo and Brandon convened with their heads of operations to discuss strategies to get his sister and his wife back. While they were at it, the Rodriguezs were brought in at Angelo's orders.

Angelo probed the prisoners for information on Don Romero's residence and the impending wedding arrangements.

"Tell me everything about Don Romero's plans. We need to rescue my sister and my wife."

Baron Rodriguez spoke up, divulging the information to the best of his knowledge.

"He's planning an auction, Angelo. Simultaneously with the wedding."

"Good. Call him, act normal, and speak to him in the following…" Angelo revealed his strategy to Baron and employed him to act with it.

Baron called Don Romero, maintaining pleasantries with him as usual.

"Hey, Don. Everything's fine, right? Wedding and auction together—brilliant idea."

"Yes. We will be sealing our alliance tomorrow." Romero replied from the other end of the phone.

"The Don, I've got a package for you, I thought it would interest you." Baron's words sparked Romero's interest.

"Oh, what is that?" Romero attentively listened to what the surprise his in-law had for him.

"Angelo Bruno," Baron told him.

"That fool. Is he still alive?" Don Romero asked in surprise.

"I kept the tall bastard alive in case you wanted to play sports with him," Baron answered him, knowing how much Don Romero loved things of such. Any opportunity to make humiliations of people and play sports with people's lives interested him a lot.

"Oh, Baron. You know me too well. Thank you, my friend. I have a few ideas on what exactly to do with him." Don Romero expressed his gratitude to Baron for conceiving such a brilliant idea.

Baron gave his last reply as they ended the call,

"I'll be bringing him to the wedding tomorrow."

Angelo ordered the Rodriguezs back to their estate, under strict surveillance.

"Take them back. Keep a close eye on them. Tomorrow, we attend the wedding together."
