94. Attempting to Approach Javier

"Really? He's a deputy director?" Chloe replied, the expression on her face becoming more excited. She thought Javier's title was company leader but a vice president wasn't a bad title either, but judging by his appearance Javier was more suited to be a company leader. However, it wasn't something that Chloe minded. She was happy with Javier's position and she thought it was still equal to Chloe's position as a director in her father's company.

"You must be a great vice president," Chloe complimented Javier with a faint smile.

"Maybe my boss thinks so, but I guess I'm doing a pretty good job since I can come to your company party on behalf of the company," Javier said trying to return her compliment politely even though he was already reluctant to respond. He was uncomfortable and didn't like the way Chloe was looking at him.
