On the same night.

After a long day, the staff members were all gathered on the ground floor. They kept murmuring about why the CEO wanted to talk with them.

Irene could hear what people were talking about. Most of those were negative talks as they were all anxious, wondering if they were now going to lose their jobs because they were only told this morning that they would be paid minimum wages. Those present right now were the ones that had agreed to work for minimum wages. Irene was among them.
