Russell was able to keep on reading, until he froze after reading the clause: The husband admits that he impregnated his wife before marriage, and that he’s the biological father of the baby growing inside the to-be wife.

“What the hell is this?” Russell gave the file back to his father. “This is utter bullshit. Just because they’re rich, they think they can force me to say that I’m the biological father of the baby growing inside Kyra?” He got up.

“Russell,” Arnold pulled him down. “Calm down. I know this seems bizarre at first, but you shouldn’t forget that the reason they are marrying Kyra into our family is because they don’t want the marriage to happen before the world knows Kyra is pregnant. So of course, when she gives birth later on, you are going to say to the world that the baby is yours.”
