Once the stadium was completely destroyed, Thunderbird turned its devastating attention to the nearby buildings. The rest of the National Guard in the area were called to the scene. They threw everything they had at it, but it just ripped through them like they weren’t even there. Those on the ground felt helpless as they watched the bird carve an unstoppable path of destruction through the city.

Another news chopper bravely flew into the area to cover the event. Dutch quickly turned on the news to see their footage. Those on the ground and in the control room could only watch in horror as Thunderbird destroyed a nearby suburb. The few families who managed to make it out of their homes before they were demolished only became moving targets, drawing Thunderbird’s attention without mercy. Its attack did not discriminate. Men, women, and children were systematically burned alive as they ran screaming, desperate for somewhere to hide.
