Kiran stood in front of the mirror, wearing a blue tunic and covering it with an extraordinary genius student uniform armor cape that looked different from the average student.

"Perfect, and I already look like a real fighter!" Kiran smiled in the mirror, admiring his appearance that was no longer that of a frightened child from the small town of Begonia City.

Kiran smiled once more, then left the unique room number twenty where Motsel, the waterbender, would take his place in the duel.

Along the corridor to the Arena, when he met groups of students or those walking alone, they gave way and respectfully made room for him. Kiran passed by them with a faint smile.

"I mustn't come across as arrogant," Kiran thought, still full of confidence.

Faintly, he heard whispers from behind him.

"Isn't he the one Motsel challenged?"

"Come on, let's go to the arena and watch the duel!"

"Does he seem friendly, not like the children of the elite noble group who often look down on him?"
