CHAPTER HUNDRED SIXTEEN

Leon stood, looking at the faces of the people around him. For some reason, he lost trust in all of them. He looked at Fiona with a look that she couldn't decipher.

"I'm sorry, Leon, I didn't know what to think. I was so scared of losing you but I couldn't keep living in denial," she said with an apologetic look.

Xavier sighed and also tried to apologize, "I'm sorry, Leon. I should have been more adamant. I should have asked to see you before I took any action," he said.

"The doctor said that we weren't allowed to go in there and see you, we were all confused, our grief made us fall for all his lies," Edwin added.

Leon turned to Tracy who was firmly by his side. It was pretty clear that she was the only one who stubbornly didn't believe that he was dead. She had stood her ground even as he stepped into the hall, her voice was what he heard, arguing with Billy.
