5 important clients

"Why are you silent? I didn't invite you here to sit here and watch the food. Eat up, there's no need to feel awkward," Ethan said, chuckling softly as he looked at Hazel, who looked serious and sat up straight like an interview employee.

However, the girl still didn't move. She kept looking straight at the food in front of her. Even if you look again, her sitting position looks uncomfortable because she only sits at the end of the chair.

"Hazel, let's eat!" Ethan, who couldn't stand it, unwrapped the tissue from Hazel's cutlery and offered it to her. "I'm very hungry, so don't make me delay any longer."

"Sir." Of course, that made Hazel feel uncomfortable, and she immediately picked up her cutlery. But afterward, she returned it to its original place. "You can enjoy your lunch in peace. I will wait here without disturbing you."

Hazel lifted her gaze and was met with Ethan's flat stare, making her sit up immediately. "Sorry, sir, I can't enjoy it. After all, you are my superior. It's very rude of me to eat at the same table as you."

Hearing her words, Ethan sighed softly.

It had only been a few hours since they met, but it seemed like he was starting to recognize Hazel's character, who was very professional in her work. No wonder his grandfather gave her to him.

"Forget about our current status. I just want to take you out to eat to become more familiar. From now on, I'll be asking for your help a lot. So I hope you can be more relaxed," Ethan said at last.

Suddenly, Hazel looked at him in surprise.

Ethan smiled slightly and turned his gaze in another direction. "You must know more or less about Celeste's family. I don't regret my decision to become part of their family, but I have a big grudge."

"And I need you for that. At least, as long as I haven't revealed this identity," he continued, looking back at Hazel, who was silent, listening to his words intently.

"So you want to destroy them?" Hazel asked in confirmation.

The girl didn't look surprised when she heard Ethan's honest confession.

"Are you going to help me?" Instead of answering, Ethan asked back.

But unexpectedly, Hazel nodded her head. Her serious face did not change at all. "Yes. Whatever you order, I will do it earnestly. I will never let you down, Mr. Ethan."

"You are indeed worthy of my Grandfather's trust," Ethan said as he nodded slowly with a broad, satisfied smile.

But that didn't faze Hazel. She remained professional with a serious face as if Ethan's words weren't a compliment.

"Alright. Can we start eating now?" Ethan fixed his sitting position and held his cutlery. "If you still insist on being a statue, I won't accept you as my secretary anymore!"

"Sir, happy eating," Hazel said quickly with a charming smile that spread beautifully.

Ethan's crisp laughter emanated.

Afterward, both of them were busy with their respective meals.

"Oh yeah, can you tell me about our important clients?" asked Ethan as they walked out of the room.

The place Ethan had chosen for this lunch was his favorite restaurant.

When he was Celeste's son-in-law, they often held events at this restaurant. And from the first time he came, he fell in love with the food. The flavors were so much to his taste that he loved it so much that he vowed always to come here when he had his income.

And now, that has come true.

"There are five clients that we really can't mention, sir. Especially Mr. Pedro from the Crown Reality company. Aside from being our regular client, he's also the first and only investor to give us a high price," replied Hazel, who returned to seriousness after a moment of casualness.

"Isn't his company only in the top fifteen? Why would he take the risk to invest so heavily?" Ethan frowned in confusion.

Hazel nodded briefly and continued, "There are two people like this: Mr. Theodore, a director, and Mrs. Coraline, the owner of the blue gem boutique. As for why they would invest so much, it's because of Chairman Kinsey. They are good friends, and as for the rest, I don't know. Maybe you can ask him directly."

Instantly, Ethan fell silent.

His brain was spinning rapidly, remembering the other businesses his grandfather owned. If they were good friends, would they also participate in that business?

If this was the case, there was no need to wonder anymore.

Then he chose to ask again. "What about the other two?"

"They are the Pulse Apparel and Citylink companies."

Ethan's steps suddenly stopped. He looked at Hazel in surprise. "Pulse Apparel?"

"Yes, sir," Hazel replied with a firm nod.

"Since when have they been our client?" It was unexpected that Pulse Apparel, which was highly regarded by Celeste's family, had a relationship with the company he was currently leading.

"I think since the company was founded," said Hazel, who wasn't too sure because, in the first year, she hadn't joined Zenith Corp. "I'm not sure. But if you need the file, I'll look for it and hand it to you later."

Ethan quickly nodded. "Yes. Give me all the important files I need to know. Don't miss a single one!"

Hazel nodded obediently.

Afterward, they continued to leave the restaurant in silence.

But unbeknownst to them, as they walked towards the parking lot, Aiden, who had just arrived and was about to head towards the entrance, saw them. He hurriedly took out his cell phone to take a picture of them and grinned. "If you dare to mess with my family, then I'll make your life even more ruined."

Meanwhile, at Mr. Grant's mansion, Ariana arrived in a hurry and went straight into the living room while shouting for her grandfather.

The butler who saw that rushed over. "Miss, the Great Master is not in the mood to be disturbed. You'd better come back tomorrow."

"I have something important to talk to him about. Quickly tell me, where is my grandfather?" Ariana gave the butler an impatient look.

But the butler stood his ground. He shook his head slowly, indicating that Great Master Grant really couldn't be bothered even by his granddaughter.

Of course, that made Ariana angry. "Do you want to lose your job? You're just a servant, you have no right to rule over me! If you still insist, I'll fire you right now!"

"Please watch your words, Ariana!"

Suddenly, a voice with a creepy, stern tone rang out, making Ariana turn her head quickly in surprise.
