Arrived

Calvin glanced at the antique clock hanging on the wall, its ornate hands ticking away the minutes with an almost ominous urgency. The realization that Lizzie was running late tugged at his nerves, a faint furrow forming on his brow as he mentally calculated the time. They should have been on their way to Albert Finch's house by now, yet there was no sign of Lizzie.

Just as he was about to dial her number, his phone buzzed, indicating an incoming call from his sister. With a flicker of relief, he answered, his voice tinged with concern. "Hey, Lizzie, everything alright?"

On the other end of the line, Lizzie's voice sounded slightly rushed but determined. "Calvin, I'm so sorry, I got caught up at the salon. But don't worry, I'll head straight to Albert's house from here. You just go pick up Christina."

Calvin's expression softened with understanding as he listened to Lizzie's explanation. "No problem, Lizzie. I'll take care of it. Just be safe," he replied, his tone reassuring.
