Martin led Citra to a dark corner of the room, where two men were sitting around a table. They all stared at Martin and Citra with smiles on their faces, seemingly pleased with Martin's arrival with Citra by his side.

Martin then stopped right in front of them and placed his hand on Citra's shoulder. A smile adorned his face.

"Friends, let me introduce you to Citra, my fiancée," Martin said proudly, glancing briefly at Citra before turning back to his three friends.

Citra didn't respond; there was no expression on her face to indicate she was happy to be introduced as a fiancée. In fact, Citra felt disgusted hearing Martin introduce her as his fiancée. If not for the threat of Amel's video, Citra might have flatly refused to be engaged to Martin. From the beginning, she never had any hope of having a relationship with a bastard like Martin.

Martin slightly tightened his grip on Citra's shoulder, signaling her to smile in front of his friends.
