Agatha tried to stand up. “Luke, I mean your highness, I…”

Luke raised his hand to stop Agatha's words. "I don't want to hear your apology and I don't want to hear a second chance from you."

"But I'm still your wife. We're not officially divorced yet. There are no official records yet, right?”

Agatha stuttered a little. She didn't want to believe that Luke had just hired a few people to play the part. But the royal logo on the letter and the car parked in the house is inevitable. Don't forget the badge attached to the jacket of the elite soldiers. no one dares to imitate him or the kingdom will punish him very cruelly. The kingdom does indeed provide strict rules for logos that become the identity of members of the kingdom with ordinary civilians.

"Your highness, are you sure you will allow your ex-wife and in-laws? I see their attitude is very rude."

Luke smiled a little. "I'll take care of it my way, John."

John nodded his head. "I am always willing to give my ability, your highness."

"I will remember it." Luke smiled faintly. Tonight's humiliation was the thing he could never forget the most. Moreover, the lies that have just been exposed. "If you want to help me, I need you to find information on the woman named Eloise Cathrine as soon as possible."

"Okay, my highness will quickly find it for you."

Luke nodded his head. after that the two of them silently enjoyed the trip to Puissance Palace. Luke arrived at the kingdom after two hours of travel. He was immediately greeted by a line of ladies and gentlemen.

"Welcome back, Your Highness." They said in unison.

Luke just walked past them. Even though he had not been to the palace for four years, he still knew the ins and outs of the place where he lived. nothing has changed since he left. Luke went straight to the queen's room.

"Announcement to Her Majesty the Queen, The Crown Prince is at the door." The voice of the queen's maid made an announcement. After the door was opened Luke entered the Queen's room who was lying sick. The queen immediately reached out to hug her only son.

"Welcome back to the palace, my son."

“Mom, how can it hurt like this? You are the queen of the city of Puissance." Luke hugged his mother tightly whispering his longing in his heart.

“I already said it in my letter. I'm too old it's time for you to take over the leadership but before that I want to know why you just disappeared from the palace, my son. Where have you been all this time?” The Queen saw her son rub Luke's cheek which felt very rough and very worn. It was as if he had a rough life all along.

Luke looked down not daring to meet his mother's eyes. “I love a girl. Ten years ago he saved me. At first I only intended to return the favor but the older I grew, the more I realized that I loved him. I intended to marry her four years ago.”

"Judging from your attitude it seems that the woman is not of the noble class."

Luke kept his head down which confirmed the queen's suspicions. “I'm sorry, my queen. Because of that I chose to give up my status and live together with her.”

Queen exhaled. "Then where is your wife now? Didn't you take it with you?"

Luke shook his head. "I'm tricked. It turned out that the woman I had been married to was not the woman who had saved me. I'm divorcing her tonight."

"Are you heartbroken?"

Luke shook his head. "I'm just mad." Luke looked again at his mother. "Mom, you should rest."

“You too, your highness. Starting tomorrow you will follow your official duties again. we should also prepare for your coronation as king as soon as possible.” Luke nodded his head. He gave his mother a kiss goodnight and then left her. in his room Luke was transfixed. He had not received such service in a long time. luxurious rooms and maids who have prepared all their needs.

This morning, Luke's room was knocked by his maid. But the sight that surprised them when they saw Luke was dressing himself and the room was neat. "Your highness, what are you doing?" even John surprised him.

Luke smiled at his bodyguard. “nothing. Just a routine every morning for the past four years.” John was completely dumbfounded by what the crown prince had just said. Four years away from the palace made Luke's attitude different.

"You know you shouldn't do that, your highness."

Luke nodded his head. "I still need to adapt more. Have you found the girl yet, John?” Luke actually wasn't sure if he called Eloise a girl. Ten years is not a short time, it could be that the girl is already married and has a husband.

"Yes." John nodded his head, not forgetting to give some files and photos containing the personal data of the woman Luke was looking for. "There were several women named Eloise Cathrine but only one was related to your former father-in-law, sir."

Luke nodded his head. "Please explain to me!" Luke said while examining the photo in his hand.

"She was named Eloise Cathrine, she didn't use the name Philip because she was the illegitimate child of Samuel Philip, your former father-in-law."

Luke nodded his head. “I already know that information. I want more information.”

“Four years ago Samuel Philip reported his second daughter had left the house but everyone in the town of Puisscance believes that Miss Eloise was deliberately kicked out of the house. after I searched for more information I came across the fact that Miss Eloise was sold into labor by Mr Philip and Mr Samuel."

Luke did not hold back his swearing listening to this statement. His grandfather and father conspired to get him out of Philip's house. Luke could still understand master Philip's anger but Samuel, that man really wasn't worthy of being called a father. how could he throw away his daughter so easily? Luke remembered that Philip's family had looked normal for four years at that house. neither of them felt guilty towards Eloise. Luke could no longer refer to them as humans.

"Then where is that woman now? Is she already married?" the last question that mattered most to Luke. He wasn't ready for his heart to break.

John shook his head. "She's not married because she can't be married."

"What do you mean?"
