Aline is annoyed by Penha's disdain over the news that she intends to move out of the house.

"Mother, you are the only person on the face of the Earth who laughs at her daughter who wishes to emancipate herself," Aline growls.

"And you are the only daughter on the face of the Earth who talks such nonsense without being prepared!" Penha replies between laughs, "With what money will you support yourself?"

Carla is outraged, "Aren't parents going to help their daughter grow wings and fly?"

"No, we want Aline by our side forever." Penha stops laughing, "The birthday party proved that she still doesn't have the maturity to live alone as an adult."

Aline stands up and stands very close to her mother, "Stop it, Mom, please! I swear I'll be more responsible! In fact, I already am! I got a job and yesterday I closed my first contract."

Penha purses her lips in disdain and then retorts, "Really? And where's the stamp on your work card? Without proof, I don't believe you're employed!"
