Immoral Person

"I'll make you pay for all the humiliations you've caused me!" Roland yelled.

The bouncers were ready to take him out of the building when the Butler's words halted them.

"Where do you think you're taking him to?" His firm voice echoed.

Everyone present stopped what they were doing. They bowed in respect of the Butler's entrance.

This was because he was the personal assistant of the chairman, the chairman's butler.

The bouncers halted their steps Roland sighed in relief immediately as he caught sight of the old man. He was surprised to see everyone bowing in respect to him.

Even his girlfriend's lover bowed as well.

The old man must have a high rank here. Roland thought.

The old man hurried down the stairs, ignoring everyone's greetings as he ran towards Roland and saluted him.

"Young Master, welcome back home!"

The words that came out from the old man's lips caused everyone's jaw to drop. Their eyes widened in surprise.

His words caused everyone to murmur.

"Was this old man referring to the pauper as the long-lost young master?"

"Maybe his old age is affecting his brain!"

"Shh! Don't let him hear you. Or else, you want your throat to be cut off."

A satisfactory smile played on Roland's lips, he loved the attention he just garnered especially seeing the surprised look on his rival's face. He was well pleased with it.

The rival of Roland's face turned pale. He knew behind the Butler was in charge of the Lafayette Group since the chairman had no son to control it apart from his lost son.

And, apart from that, the Butler was doing well in handling the company's affairs.

Seeing the Butler being so respectful to Roland made his face turn pale all of a sudden!

"This is so cringe!" He gritted his teeth furiously.

"I'm glad you came and besides, the chairman isn't around as he went for a business trip overseas. Come, I'll show you to the company!" The old man was smiling from ear to ear.

He was genuinely happy to see the true heir of the Lafayette Group return.

Roland smiled back at him and followed the man out of the building while gazing at it before leaving. He got to a black limousine that was parked outside and rode off to the company.

While the angry man was following them from behind.

When they got to the company, Roland was stunned by the large walls of the building. He was currently inside the most influential and biggest company in the whole country.

Roland was pleased with what he saw. He was all smiles but the smile later disappeared when he saw the same man from earlier behind him.

"Do you know who he is?" Roland asked the Butler.

The Butler turned to see the man standing still behind Roland.

"Oh, Simon is just a manager here." The Butler said. He then turned to the secretary with a questioning look on his face. "Right?"

"Yes, sir. Mr. Simon Anderson is a substituted manager here!" The secretary informed me.

The way the duo exchanged looks made him confused. Did they know each other before? He was also angry with the way the man called Simon was glaring at Roland.

"Do you know him before?" The old man was forced to ask as he didn't want to be left behind.

"This man is an immoral person. How can an immoral person be hired in this prestigious organization?" Roland furrowed his brow as he folded his arms.

The secretary was surprised by Roland's words. Does he have a say in this matter? Why is he so bossy?

Hearing the word immoral made the Butler understand that Simon has done more harm than good to his young master.

How can he employ someone who is a rival of his young master? This made him so furious.

"Why did you employ such an immoral person for the job?" The Butler asked the secretary furiously.

"Sir, I wasn't the one who employed him. He passed the interview so we asked him to work in replacement of the sick manager."

The secretary was terrified by the old man's angry gaze. He was her superior at work so she wouldn't dare offend him because she loved her job.

"How come he passed the interview?" The old man asked again.

The secretary almost fainted. This old man was pressurizing her.

"Sir, you employed him yourself after he passed the interview!"

The old man tried to recall how he managed to employ Simon but his aging brain didn't respond.

Roland was pleased. Slowly, he would be able to punish all his offenders.

The secretary came to realize that the pauper man that was standing in front of her was no ordinary person.

With the way the old man respected him, he must be from a huger class.

But her question was; Why would he dress like a pauper if he was from a prestigious home?

Still, Roland didn't believe all these were happening in reality. He hasn't even fully emerged as the true heir and yet the Butler was taking orders from him.

This was so good to be true.

Simon, on the other hand, was standing as a statue with his mouth open. His hands were trembling and his palms were all sweaty.

Why would the Butler take others from this paper that couldn't even afford to pay for his girlfriend's hospital bill?

The Butler turned to face Simon once he was done with the secretary.

"You...what are you still doing, standing here?" The old man asked furiously.

"Sir, I'm not an immoral person as this odd-looking man claims. I don't even know him." Simon was pleased as he was throwing death glares at Roland.

Unknown to him, he was adding fuel to fire.

"Odd looking man? You dare call my young master an odd-looking man?" The old man creased his brow. He turned to the secretary with a frown sitting on his face.

"Tell the officials to get his resignation letter!" He ordered. The secretary nodded her head.

Simon couldn't believe his ears. How can he be fired just like that? He needed this job and now they're just going to fire him.

He endlessly pleaded with the Butler but the old man didn't move an inch as he told Roland to follow him while paying a deaf ear to Simon's pleadings.
