Chapter 0002

Noah left Ruby's house. At this moment, he recalled when seven years ago, when he was only eighteen years old, he too had to be kicked out by his own family. According to the family rules, Noah had to go through the family court to win back his rights as the heir of his family.

With his ingenuity, Noah founded a large company in his town. After that, the company grew very quickly. Noah even managed to make his company one of the top ten companies in the city. There were almost no other big companies that could compete with him. And no one knew if the company that stood was owned and founded by a student. Only those closest to him knew about it.

Noah remembered everything. He also remembered his father's words. "You don't deserve to own everything. We'll take all the profits. You can only have a hundred dollars as pocket money."

It's not for nothing that his family raised him so hard and did all this so that Noah would know what it's like to be poor.

Noah exhaled. He also remembered the hardest time in his life when he met Ruby. Until they fell in love, Noah thought they could live together, and Noah would take back his rights, but Ruby had disappointed him.

Noah thought back to the shadows of his past. That time, his father gave him a box. It was a land certificate. "This is your prize. You can occupy this until you win all this from the court."

Noah accepted the gift from his family. It was a small house, but eventually, Noah chose to sell it and give the money to Ruby to start a company. Unbeknownst to Ruby, Noah also used some money to set up another company.

Unbeknownst to anyone, Noah managed to build the company into one of the top one hundred companies in the world within three years.

The sound of breathing could be heard again. Noah walked all night to get rid of his heartache after his wife's betrayal.

His cell phone suddenly rang. It was a call from Jairo. Without waiting long, Noah answered it immediately. "What's wrong?" He spoke in a cold voice.

"Young sir, there's a big party going on tonight, and your family decided to announce you as the head of the family here. Congratulations to you, young master. But you must come immediately with your wife." Jairo spoke with pleasure. He wondered if, of course, his master had told his wife all about his identity, as Noah had said when discussing things with him.

"Young master, you should come immediately. Everyone is waiting." Jairo spoke again.

Noah smiled wryly. He still squeezed his cell phone tightly, then spoke, "I just divorced my wife." Noah confirmed that to Jairo. His heart ached again as he thought about Ruby's betrayal and insults.

Meanwhile, on the other end of the line, Jairo was shocked. "Young master, what happened? I'm sorry that I didn't know that."

Jario sighed. He didn't expect it to happen at his master's wedding. He knew because his young master was helping his wife at the time and loved her very much.

Jario was silent for a while. He thought that today would be a happy day for his master when his master managed to get back what was rightfully his. Then Jario thought back to the party.

"Young master, will you still be attending this party?" Jairo asked again.

"I will," Noah answered in the affirmative. He turned off the phone call. Noah deliberately agreed because he needed an activity to forget about the pain.

In the evening, Noah arrived at the party. Many luxury cars were parked in the courtyard of a large building. Everyone came dressed in their finest. Noah was still wearing the same clothes. He didn't have time to buy clothes and prepare them.

The moment Noah stepped inside, two guards immediately stopped him. "Can you show me your invitation?" One of the guards looked at Noah with a wary gaze. He wasn't sure if Noah was part of the guests who would be attending.

Noah shook his head. "I don't have that invitation."

The two guards were still blocking his steps. He certainly couldn't allow Noah to enter. "You can't come in. This is a very important party. Not just anyone can come here."

Noah looked at the two guards in turn. Even he could see the two guards looking at him warily, and Noah thought about calling Jairo to come over.

Before Noah could do that, he suddenly heard a familiar female voice in his ear. Noah quickly turned his head until he saw Ruby, also at the party. But he was surprised to see Ruby with another man.

Noah furrowed his brow. He wouldn't have thought that Ruby would also come here. And looking at the man beside her, Noah didn't recognize him.

Ruby walked quietly. She smiled at the man beside her, and when Ruby and Noah didn't look at each other, Ruby's smile faded. Ruby gave him a sharp look. She wasn't happy to see Noah. "What are you doing? Why are you here? Did you follow me on purpose?"

Ruby asked in a loud voice. She was sure that Noah was following her on purpose because it was highly unlikely that Noah was a guest there.

"I didn't follow you." Noah denied it. Then he asked, "Who was that man?"

Ruby looked at the man beside her. "He is Mr. Dario. He is my business partner. We got the same invitation, so we came together." Ruby explained.

"Yes, I'm Dario, and I've been chasing Ruby for quite some time. Are you Ruby's deadbeat ex-husband?" The man asked with one eyebrow raised. He began to scrutinize Noah's ordinary-looking appearance. In stark contrast to his current appearance. Until Dario smiled confidently.

Noah frowned when he heard Dario's words. He didn't want to serve him and chose to leave rather than make a scene at his event.

"You can continue your show. I'll go." Noah spoke in a firm voice.

"Why? Why do you have to go? At least tell me what you came here for." Ruby urged him. She was very curious about Noah's presence at this event.

Ruby didn't like Noah's attitude. She wanted him to fight for her. But Noah chose to leave instead. Ruby looked at Noah with disappointment every time she saw Noah running away from trouble. Meanwhile, Noah heard the question and ignored it. He didn't want anything to do with Ruby and that man.

Dario noticed the ordinary-looking man in front of him. He was sure that Noah was not a guest there. "Did you come to find a job as a waiter here?"

There was Ruby, who looked at Dario. Then she looked back at Noah. "Is that true?" Ruby also asked Noah. If it was true, then it was very embarrassing.

Dario grinned slightly. Then he said, "If you want to be a servant here, I can help you because I know the owner well."
