CHAPTER 30

Elizabeth took Jeremiah upstairs.

“Your room, young master,” Elizabeth said as she opened the door to Jeremiah’s room, and when he saw the inside, his eyes widened so much that they almost came out of their sockets.

Jeremiah walked in first, then she followed, leaving the door open while Jeremiah looked in awe at how wonderful the room was.

“This is only a temporary arrangement. If I had been informed before your arrival, I would have pulled out all the stops to make sure you got an even bigger and better room, but please manage this young master,” Elizabeth said, and Jeremiah looked at her with shock.

“What is it, young master?” She asked.

Jeremiah chuckled.

“If you knew where I am coming from, you wouldn’t have said what you just did. This room is amazing” Jeremiah said, and the headmaid blushed.

“By the way, my name is Jeremiah. If you’re going to keep calling me Young Master, then you should at least know my actual name too,” Jeremiah said, as he walked deeper into the room to
