CHAPTER 68

Jeremiah and Lynette went to the maid’s quarters which was a section of the castle that the maids stay in.

“This is my room, young master,” Lynette said as they stood in front of her room door.

“Okay,” Jeremiah replied then Lynette turned to the door and knocked, making Jeremiah groan in confusion.

He wondered why she didn’t just open the door since she said that it was her room. Why did she knock?

Well, he found out why soon enough.

“I’m coming!” Said someone inside the room and while Lynette recognized who had spoken by their voice, Jeremiah had one thought in mind.

‘So she has a roommate’ he thought.

For some reason, he had thought that the room was hers alone, but after thinking about it for a moment, he realized that of course, she had a roommate.

Why would a maid stay by herself when there were so many maids in the estate? There wouldn’t be enough rooms for all of them if that was the case.

A second later, the door was opened and both of them saw who opened it.

It was Joyce.
